I’m writing this blog about my passion of baking which is entirely different from others blogs in which I focused more on health issues. I’m going to surprise my readers by writing on recipe of chocolate cake.
From very young age, I have been in love with baking and visiting bakeries. I have learned baking by only practising by myself and subsequently developed my way of baking.
I have always believed that baking with love is the key ingredients. I never felt bored or tired in baking cake. Initially I failed several times but never gave up. It’s a double whammy of awesomeness-baking makes me happy and baked goods make my family happy.
Baking give joy and satisfaction of turning a recipe into work of art. This joy is more profound when family say this really tastes good. It is the only outlet for me, to relax, let go, create and make the same recipe better each time I do it.
Ingredients for cake
- Eggs 2
- Milk 1cup
- Vanilla Extract 1 tsp
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Butter 1/4 cup melted
- Refined flour 1 3/4 cup
- Baking powder 1 1/2 tsp
- Baking Soda. 1 1/2 tsp
- Cocoa powder 3/4 cup
- Sugar 1 1/2 cup
- Salt 1tsp
Ingredients for chocolate frosting
- Powdered sugar 3 1/4 cups
- Unsweetened Cocoa powder 2/3 cups
- Softened Butter 1 1/3 sticks
- Boiling water 1/3cups + 1 1/2tbsp
- Melted dark chocolate 75% cocoa 2 ounces
- Salt 1/2tsp
Now friends so you are ready with all ingredients. Let’s start with making of cake. For this take a bowl and put all wet ingredients to it and mix with the whisk. Keep this aside. In another big bowl put all dry ingredients and mix well. To this add the wet ingredients and mix with wisk. Then with electric wisker mix again and to it add hot water gradually and mixing. You will watery batter but don’t worry. Transfer this batter into greased tin. Then put your cake tin preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Let it cool completely. Now we should do the frosting.
For chocolate frosting mix powdered sugar, salt, cocoa and butter in a bowl and mix nicely with wisker then add boiling water again mix and add melted chocolate and again mix. Keep it in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Your frosting is ready. You can decorate by putting this in piping bag. Before decoration you should apply sugar solution on the surface of the cake. Your super delicious cake is ready.
